This meisie vannie Baai (girl from the Bay) is very Happy to have received a scholarship to work on my doctorate at the Free University in Berlin for 6 months! I'm currently working on a D.Phil in Psychology. The doctorate is on human trafficking in the Eastern Cape.
I'm from the friendly city of Port Elizabeth, locally know as die Baai, on the South-East coast of South Africa.
Originally the blog was to inform friends and family on what I'm up to in Berlin, so tiring to repeat the same things via Skype and email. Lately I think I will probably talk quite a lot about the differences between 1st and developing countries...most notable probably about German vs Africa time!
